At Lumatron we experienced the evolution from the incandescent through the fluorescent, Then discharge lamps and halogen lamps, to the LED. We loved witnessing how technology transformed the light source from a crude and inefficient incandescent to an efficient, versatile and environmentally friendly LED. Lighting still has a long way to go to be able to come close to the dynamic natural light  which our bodies need. Unlike the sun, Most light sources used now are static, with fixed location, intensity and spectrum. We are currently working on changing the LED lighting.
